The new Transformers 3 Toys are revealing a lot about the new movie from Michael Bay. Hasbro has a new line of Transformers toys for the new movie. First, we have learned that Sentinel Prime will be in the new movie.
In the trailer we saw a lifeless robot in the wreckage. Well it is hypothesized that inside the wreckage is none other than Sentinel Prime. Sentinel Prime used to be in charge of the Autobots before Optimus Prime took over. He supposedly crash landed on the moon. We know that Sentinel Prime will be making an appearance because Hasbro is releasing a Mechtech Leader version of Sentinel Prime.
Hasbro is also releasing a new playset called the Ark. For those that don’t know the Ark is a spaceship that carries Transformers. In the cartoon it was known as the Autobots headquarters. We think the Ark actually houses Sentinel Prime in the movie. He was probably buried in it.
The final Transformer toy we saw was Megatron. Now this guy looks scary. If you saw him on the roadside looking for a lift you would probably drive 100 miles in the opposite direction. At the end of the last movie, Megatron retreated. Before he could get away, half of his face was completely decimated. His face is still messed up on the new toy so we suppose he hasn’t fully healed in the new movie. The toy we saw was the MechTech Voyager figure.
We are still unsure the direction that Michael Bay is going to take the new film. We are told by sources close to Bay that the movie might start in the jungles of Africa. Megatron is supposedly still trying to recover from his wounds. He is plotting his revenge against the Transformers.
We also know that Shockwave is back in the new movie. Michael Bay has confirmed this. The last time he made an appearance was in the 80s as a toy. We also speculate that Laserbeak may also be joining the cast.
Transformers: Dark Of The Moon opens July 1st. Other Transformers’ characters that are in the film will probably be revealed when the full line of Transformers 3 toys is released.
